Gary Kelly
Owner & Lead Veterinary Surgeon
Originally from Northern Ireland, Gary Kelly is the owner and lead veterinary surgeon at Warren House Veterinary Centre and EndoVet Referral Clinic. He graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2003 and has since dedicated his career to advancing veterinary care. Over the years, Gary has held key leadership roles, becoming Director in 2013, Managing Director in 2016, and ultimately the sole owner in March 2021.
Under Gary’s leadership, Warren House Veterinary Centre has earned a reputation for excellence, culminating in being named Best UK Vets 2024, a testament to the dedication and passion of the entire team.
Expertise & Special Interests
Gary has a special interest in diagnostic and interventional endoscopy, as well as advanced laparoscopic procedures. His qualifications include:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery
- Studying for a Certificate in Endoscopy & Endosurgery
He is an active member of the Veterinary Endoscopy Society and frequently attends international courses and events to stay at the forefront of veterinary innovation. Additionally, he collaborates academically with a specialist centre in Milan, Italy, where he and Dr. Federico Massari have co-authored research published in prestigious veterinary journals.
Beyond Veterinary Medicine
Gary is married to Tereza, a human surgeon and co-director of the clinics since March 2021. Together, they have four children.
Outside of his professional life, Gary is passionate about martial arts. He holds a black belt in Karate and a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
